Ingredients

  • 2 medium tomatoes, about 1 ¼ cups

  • ½ large white onion, about 1 ¼ cups

  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice, about 1 lime

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper


Preparation

  1. Cut tomatoes in half and scoop out seeds. Chop tomatoes into small cubes.

  2. Cut ½ of a large white onion into small cubes.

  3. Finely chop cilantro and juice one lime.

  4. Add the tomatoes, onions, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir to combine.

  5. Cover with cling wrap and let sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
